Refund & Return Policy


This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made on MyLocalElectricals.com (“Platform”), by customers (“Customer”) from vendors (“Vendor”). By making a purchase, you agree to the terms below.


1. General Policy


My Local Electricals is an online marketplace connecting customers with local electrical vendors.


All products sold are the responsibility of the respective Vendor.


Refunds, replacements, or returns will be processed in accordance with this Policy, subject to vendor-specific terms (if any).


2. Eligibility for Returns


A product may be eligible for return/replacement if:


It is defective, damaged, or not functioning as described.


The product delivered is incorrect, wrong size/model, or mismatched compared to the order.


It is incomplete (missing parts, accessories, or manuals).


Conditions:


The Customer must raise a return/replacement request within 7 days of delivery.


The product must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags, manuals, and accessories intact.


Certain products (such as wires cut to custom length, perishable goods, clearance items, or items marked “non-returnable”) may not be eligible for return.


3. Refund Process


Once a return request is approved and the product is received back, the Vendor will inspect the product.


If eligible, refunds will be processed to the Customer’s original payment method within 7–10 business days.


In case of Cash on Delivery (COD), refund will be made to the Customer’s bank account or wallet, after verification.


Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to vendor error (wrong/defective item).


4. Replacement Policy


If the Customer opts for replacement instead of refund, the Vendor will provide a new item of the same model (subject to stock availability).


If the replacement is not available, the Customer may choose a refund.


5. Vendor Responsibilities


Vendors must honor this Policy and process refunds/replacements in good faith.


Vendors are responsible for product quality, safe packaging, and dispatch of replacement items.


Vendors must bear the cost of return shipping if the error (wrong/defective item) is on their side.


6. Customer Responsibilities


Customers must provide clear evidence (photos/videos) of defective or wrong products, if requested.


Customers must ensure safe packaging of return items to avoid further damage during transit.


Misuse of the refund/return system (e.g., fake claims, intentional damage) may result in denial of refunds and suspension of the account.


7. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items


The following are not eligible for refund or return:


Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper installation by the Customer.


Customized, made-to-order, or clearance items.


Products without original packaging, invoice, or proof of purchase.


8. Dispute Resolution


In case of disagreements, Customers and Vendors are encouraged to resolve issues through our Support Team.


My Local Electricals reserves the right to make a final decision in disputes to ensure fairness.
